The Jackson Street Jazz Walk returns for a fourth year of Bringing Jazz Back to Jackson Street and a night of free music spread across six venues. In addition to all the great bands, Pratt’s Spring Fever gives you a chance to check out the studios and artists in this neighborhood arts center, plus food trucks, deals at the restaurants, and fun all night!
Now’s a great time to come check out Jackson Street! All events are between 16th and 23rd Ave S, and be sure to check our Facebook event page for special performances leading up to this incredible night of free music.
Jackson Commons is a citizen-led initiative to increase the vitality of Jackson Street. We are imagining the neighborhood we want and working together to create it. Find out more news about Jackson Street on our Facebook page, JacksonCommonsSeattle or follow us on Twitter @JacksonCommons.
Our other major events have included the three-mile hopscotch course across the Central District, Hopscotch CD! This year’s Hopscotch CD is being hosted by the awesome folks of Centerstone.
We’re big proponents of tactical urbanism, that is, easily achieved, low budget events and imaginings! So it’s best to stay in touch to learn about our flash picnics, chalk art competitions, pop-up cafes, and other fun.

Our band list is set for 2017, but if you’ve got some great ideas on how we can make the Jackson Street Jazz Walk better next year, figure out how to do it twice a year, or if you’d like to volunteer for this or our other events, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. For bands interested in performing at next year’s jazz walk, please send a short bio, a photograph, and a video clip of your band performing.
